Bassil has introduced three metallocene Metocene polypropylene materials that can be used to produce cast film and injection molded products. The company introduced a highly viscous Metocene homopolymer cast film resin and two injection molding grade resins that can be used to produce thin-walled products that require transparency and hardness. Cast film - Metocene X11291-55-1 - has a higher viscosity, thereby increasing the continuity of the product in the production process to produce a cast film. The resin has a melt flow rate of 9.5 g/10 min and has a narrow molecular weight distribution and a lower melting point relative to conventional polypropylene homopolymers. These properties make the products using this material have very good optical properties and sealing properties.
Typical applications for films made with this resin are stationery, food, multimedia, pharmaceutical packaging, low-volatile packaging, sugar-paper packaging, film, and flower packaging.
Injection molding grade - Metocene HM640T - Melt flow rate 60g/10 min, homopolymer, containing nucleating agent, narrow molecular weight distribution. This kind of performance makes the product have higher transparency and hardness.
Typical applications for products using this material include: thin-walled food packaging containers and thin-walled multimedia packaging (CD/DVD boxes).
Injection Molding Grade - Metocene HM1753 - Higher melt flow rate (140 g/10 min), homopolymer, nucleating agent, and good antistatic properties. This kind of material has high hardness, transparency and very low thermal deformation properties.
Typical applications for products using this material include: homeware, thin-walled food packaging containers (cups, lids), thin-walled multimedia packages (CD/DVD boxes), and the like.
