On May 24th, the "Hangzhou Office Furniture Alliance Standards" finalized by the Zhejiang Institute of Furniture and Hardware was held in Hangzhou. The moderator will first introduce the review process. Jiang Hongyuan was recommended as the leader of the judging panel and was reviewed by the organization. The meeting reviewed the "Hangzhou Office Furniture Alliance Standards" item by item including the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, instructions for use, signs, transportation and storage of office furniture. The meeting considered that the general technical requirements of the standard refer to relevant domestic and international standards and norms, and made scientific regulations on the special technical requirements for office furniture production, filling the standard gap of production enterprises, and it can be presumed that the standard has reached the domestic leading level. The standards developed are advanced, scientific and applicable, and are operability. After the implementation of the standard, it will play an important guiding role in the production, application and development of the office furniture manufacturing enterprises in our city, and further improve the production standard system of office furniture in our city.
The meeting unanimously passed the review of the "Hangzhou Office Furniture Alliance Standards" (draft for review), and recommended that the standard preparation unit review the standard text to modify, supplement and improve the standard text, prepare the approval draft and relevant materials and submit it for approval according to the procedure.

The electronic equipment is dense, the personnel are concentrated, and the ventilation conditions are relatively poor. Once the harmful substances in the office furniture exceed the standard, it poses a great threat to the health of the staff.
2) The use time of office furniture is 3~4 times that of civil furniture. For office workers, office furniture is used for up to 8 to 10 hours a day, or even longer, and there is a relatively small amount of time to touch or use furniture at home. Considering the use environment of office furniture, the quality of office furniture is also one of the most concerned issues for staff.
3) Office furniture is much more powerful than civilian furniture. Office furniture has a large carrying capacity, frequent use, long use time, and more abnormal use, such as impact, bump, scratch, pollution, etc., lack of maintenance or improper maintenance. Therefore, the strength, durability and stability requirements of office furniture are much higher than for civilian furniture.
The current standards for office furniture are based on the national standard GB/T3324 "General technical conditions for wooden furniture" with strong general requirements but relatively low technical requirements. For office furniture with high intensity and frequent use, these standards There are still gaps and deficiencies in the systematic quality control requirements of office furniture. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of office furniture products, it is necessary to formulate systemic standards that meet the characteristics of office furniture products, set corresponding technical thresholds for the characteristics of office furniture, standardize enterprise competition, and enable the office furniture industry to gather and grow. Standards Development Process In August 2011, Zhejiang Institute of Furniture and Hardware successfully applied for the formulation of the Zhejiang Province Block Industry Standardization Key Project and the Service Industry Standardization Pilot Project “Office Furniture Alliance Standards” to demonstrate and promote the Hangzhou Office Furniture Alliance Standard. In August 2011, the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Furniture and Hardware and other project undertakers set up a standard drafting group to establish an alliance standard setting plan and start the development of standards. From August to November 2011, we first collected the latest standard materials, literature materials and related technical materials related to office furniture products and test methods at home and abroad. Secondly, combined with the current office furniture standards and GB/T3324-2008 "General Technology for Wood Furniture" Conditions, analyze the differences between the requirements of domestic and international office furniture standards and test methods, and conduct detailed research on key items such as physical and chemical properties, mechanical properties and hazardous substances. At the same time, extensively visit the production enterprises of office furniture, and organize first-line technical personnel to discuss in depth. Discuss the contents of the draft one by one, find out the shortcomings, and constantly improve. On this basis, the draft standards for the "Office Furniture Alliance Standards" were prepared in accordance with the standards. Three standard drafting group discussions were held to propose amendments to the draft standard. The main contents of the standard were discussed in detail, including the main technical requirements, related projects, test methods and results judgment, etc., and finally established the technical route of the office furniture alliance standard.
From November 2011 to February 2012, on the basis of finding relevant domestic and foreign standards and literature materials, through the large amount of experimental data, in accordance with the relevant technical requirements, draft drafts of standard consultation drafts and standard preparation instructions were prepared.
From February to March 2012, 20 participants from the drafting unit were asked for comments, and the comments draft were submitted for feedback and the draft for comments was revised.
