Sakata Ink Company Announces Overall Price Increase

Recently, INX International Ink Co., the US-based ink company, announced that the company has decided to start from September 1, 2008 due to the continuous and significant increase in raw materials, energy, and transportation costs. The overall increase in the price of ink products, the price increase rate of 10% to 12%. This move is made in the footsteps of several other major ink manufacturers. In recent weeks, major ink manufacturers in North America have announced price increases.

According to Rick Clendenning, President and CEO of INX International Ink, “The substantial and continuous increase in multi-faceted costs has challenged our ability to absorb these costs... We will continue to develop our recyclable products while We will continue to optimize our supply chain.We plan to strengthen our own energy supply management and strengthen the development of our sustainable development projects so as to minimize the impact of price increase factors on our customers. The purpose is to meet the needs of our customers for inks and coatings products, while at the same time guaranteeing to provide customers with the excellent product quality and service support they expect.”

INX International Ink is the third largest ink manufacturer in North America. With more than 20 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada, it is also a subsidiary of Sakata INX and an important supplier to the international market.
