Ipack-Ima, KRonES AG, Neutraubling, which started in Milan on March 4th, 2003, will highlight its cost-effective method for PET bottle filling and the reliable inspection of PET preformed empty bottles.
KRONES has developed a BLOC structure concept that not only blows bottles and fills, but also labels them at the same time. PET bottles were produced in a Contiform stretch blow molding machine, immediately filled by an Isofill VG filler, and immediately sealed. This is the first time that the labeling work can be done directly via the BLOC system's Canmatic labeler.
It is no longer necessary to pre-treat the various components of the bottle system in the washer to each other, the distance between them is reduced to a minimum, and the planning layout becomes tight. This structure has a series of advantages: no air conveyor or blower is needed at all; eliminates any contamination of the bottle as previously caused by a long distance between the blow molding machine and the filler. Therefore, it is not necessary to pretreat the bottle in the washer. This not only eliminates the investment in the washer, but also allows the entire BLOC system to operate under the supervision of only one operator. The operator can be in front of the central control panel. Observe the entire system easily.
The bottleneck processing mode runs through the entire operation process to prevent the bottles from touching each other, resulting in a reliable machined process. Almost completely sealed production and filling systems ensure microbiological safety and make bottling to the maximum avoidance of contamination.
Inspection of PET preforms ensures high quality of PET containers Most bottlers that handle PET containers can blow bottles from preforms. Clearly, the quality of these preforms is crucial to the quality of blown bottles. KRonES AG has thus developed a test unit that can inspect PET preforms after the package has been automatically pushed onto the table or on the crosscutting wheel of the Contiform blow molding machine. This preform detector can handle up to 35,000 bottles per hour, and its IRIS technology can check the ovality of the bottle, its inner diameter, and the quality of the seal. Unqualified preforms are immediately eliminated and they do not enter the blow molding machine.
High-tech high-end Linatronic 713 M2 inspector KRONES The new Linatronic 713 M2 empty-bottle inspector is designed specifically for use by health care medicine and beverage manufacturers using small and medium-sized bottles. The "little" 713 checker uses IRIS technology instead of the original NT technology. The original resolution is 256 x 256 pixels and is now 640 x 480 pixels. The original technology is 256 different shades of gray. The current dynamic camera uses 12-bit technology and can recognize 4096 shades of gray, thus ensuring the best detection results.
