In the following two weeks, the paper enterprises resumed production operations in an all-round way. The demand for waste paper increased in a large area. The paper mills around the country also expanded the inventory of waste paper in order to ensure the stability of production output, thus driving the acquisition of the national waste yellow paper. The price has seen a wave of rising climax. At the end of February, the price of waste paper began to drop sharply, which meant the end of this wave of price increases. The price correction is likely to reserve low-priced raw materials for the next two months of the off-season, and also to find a pick-up trend for the subsequent price increases.
As for the corrugated paper, due to the impact of the Spring Festival holiday, the operating rate of each paper mill is relatively slow, and the overall price change in February is not very large. In the mid-February, the continuous increase in the price of waste paper led to the rise in the price of raw paper, which led to the phenomenon that the price of both waste paper and base paper rose. As the price of waste paper continued to fall at the end of the month, the price of raw paper also returned to a stable level.
According to the paper analysts of the business community, after the end of the Spring Festival holiday, the start of the paper mill has been on the right track, and the paper mill's reserve situation for waste paper raw materials has also become saturated. In addition, the reduction in the number of external waste imports in the fourth batch will increase the demand for waste in the country. It is expected that the national waste price will fluctuate in March. Under the support of increased costs, the price of corrugated paper will be dominated by rising trends.
